How much does AEO cost?

Short answer: from about $50 a month for a tracking tool, $150 to $600 a month for an automated service, and $1,500 to $10,000 a month for a done-for-you agency. Here is what you get at each level, so you can pick honestly.

Three ways to buy AEO

$50–500

Tracking software

Tells you whether AI names you, and who it names instead. You do every fix and every article yourself, or hire someone to.

$150–600

An automated service (what we are)

Tracking plus the work: technical fixes, researched articles, a listings checklist and weekly reports, produced by software. No account manager and no calls; you spend about 15 minutes on setup.

$1,500–10,000

A done-for-you agency

A strategist, more content, outreach for links and press, and regular calls. Usually a 90-day minimum. Worth it when you need volume and want a person to manage it.

What changes the price

  • How many questions are tracked, and how often. Weekly checks of 50 questions cost more than a one-off check of 5.
  • Content volume. Researched articles cost more than generic ones. Be wary of very high volumes: AI favours a few pages that really answer the question.
  • Outreach. Links, PR and mentions need people, which is why agencies cost more.
  • Contract terms. Month to month versus a 3-month minimum.

Our prices

Starter $149 a month (1 site, 4 articles a month, 25 questions weekly); Growth $299 a month (1 site, 8 articles a month, 50 questions weekly); Pro $599 a month (3 sites, 8 articles a month per site, 50 questions weekly). Month to month, no setup fee. If AI doesn’t name you more often at day 90 than at your baseline, month 4 is free.

Questions to ask any AEO provider

  • Which assistants do you actually measure, and can I read the answers?
  • What exactly do you publish, and where?
  • What happens if nothing changes in 90 days?
  • Do you post on forums or review sites for me? (You want “no”.)
